Hotel La Fuente is a Holistic Retreat Resort located in Southern Spain, Costa del Sol, at 600 m altitude, next to Montes de Malaga Natural Park, at the Northeast of the City of Málaga.

The project seeks to achieve the identity of the original landscape of the Montes de Malaga area, through the recovery of traditional agriculture, as well as the use of native plants. Water, an element of life that is very present in Andalusian culture both in gardens and in agricultural fields, is the main axis of the project. 

The cultural heritage, linked to the agricultural use of the mountains, as well as the natural heritage, through the series of autochthonous vegetation corresponding to the biogeographic sector in which the project is located, are the two sources of inspiration for landscaping. 

Likewise, the existing field of olive trees is reconfigured and the terraces of fruit trees and aromatic orchards linked to the old farmhouse are recreated. Moreover, there are areas for walks and recreation linked to the practice of yoga with a system of naturalistic plantations that emulates the surrounding nature itself.

Hotel La Fuente es un Resort de Retiro Holístico situado en el Sur de España, Costa del Sol, a 600 m de altitud, junto al Parque Natural Montes de Málaga, al Noreste de la Ciudad de Málaga.

El proyecto busca recuperar la identidad del paisaje original de la zona de los Montes de Málaga, a través de la recuperación de la agricultura tradicional, así como el uso de plantas autóctonas. El agua, elemento de vida muy presente en la cultura andaluza tanto en jardines como en campos agrícolas, es el eje principal del proyecto.

El patrimonio cultural, vinculado al uso agrícola de los montes, así como el patrimonio natural, a través de las series de vegetación autóctona correspondiente al sector biogeográfico en el que se ubica el proyecto, son las dos fuentes de inspiración del paisajismo.

Asimismo, se reconfigura el campo de olivos existente y se recrean los bancales de frutales y huertas aromáticas vinculados al antiguo cortijo. Además, existen áreas de paseo y descanso vinculadas a la práctica del yoga con un sistema de plantaciones naturalistas que emula la propia naturaleza circundante.
