Ikos Andalucía has been planning since the beginning of the project as a benchmark of excellence in the luxury all-inclusive resorts in Spain. This is a comprehensive reform of the former Costa del Sol Princess hotel, adapting it to fit the standards of premium products and services of the hotel firm.

Located on the shore of a beach of 14,000 square meters, the project carried out by Studio Gronda has 411 rooms and suites that are distributed in seven buildings. It has eight restaurants, sports facilities, a theater, 3,100 meters of both outdoor and heated swimming pools and a spa.

The gardens of the complex are considered as a succesion of sequences that present the evolution of the Mediterranean landscape from the mountain landscape to the coastal landscape. Likewise, 6 different gardens are developed in the main areas, linked to each pool, which give each space its own environment.

Within the “Ikos Green” sustainability project, it is proposed to regenerate and return the beach to its original state by means of dikes and breakwaters, thus regenerating an area of ​​more than 14,000 m2 of sand.

Ikos Andalucía se ha planteado desde el inicio del proyecto como referente de excelencia en los resorts todo incluido de lujo en España. Se trata de una reforma integral del antiguo hotel Costa del Sol Princess, adaptándolo a los estándares de productos y servicios premium de la firma hotelera.

Ubicado a orillas de una playa de 14.000 metros cuadrados, el proyecto llevado a cabo por Studio Gronda cuenta con 411 habitaciones y suites que se distribuyen en siete edificios. Cuenta con ocho restaurantes, instalaciones deportivas, un teatro, 3.100 metros de piscina tanto exterior como climatizada y un spa.

Los jardines del conjunto se plantean como una sucesión de secuencias que presentan la evolución del paisaje mediterráneo desde el paisaje de montaña al paisaje costero. Asimismo, en las zonas principales se desarrollan 6 jardines diferentes, vinculados a cada piscina, que dotan a cada espacio de un ambiente propio.

Dentro del proyecto de sostenibilidad “Ikos Green” se propone regenerar y devolver la playa a su estado original mediante diques y espigones, regenerando así una superficie de más de 14.000 m2 de arena.
